Support Us

For this endeavour, we need the support of many people – physically, spiritually, emotionally and of course financially. Some ways that you can support us

There is a big long list of things that we need in Liberia that we just can’t get there.

  • Good quality paint brushes
  • Paint
  • Tiny witches hats for sport
  • Cricket bat
  • Netball/basketball hoop
  • Coloured paper
  • Coloured cardboard
  • Mini paddle pop sticks
  • Blank white pre-folded cards + envelopes (from Kmart)
  • Nice a5 notebooks
  • A4 spiral art books

  • Potato masher
  • Individually wrapped tea bags (twinings Australian afternoon tea is the fav)
  • Tea box (to keep tea in)

  • Electric sander
  • 12V air compressor
  • Bike repair kit

  • Money for clothes (it seems a little ridiculous, but we need to take comfortable clothes and swimmers for the kids for the next 3 years – trying to anticipate their growth spurts 3 years in advance is quite a challenge)
  • Hair elastics – these wear out so quickly with the humidity and salt air there
  • Suit bags (also humidity wise, all our clothes go mouldy in the wardrobes. Having them protected with suit bags filled with silicon sachets will reduce the mould on our clothes)
  • Bikes
  • Wii games

There is really no spiritual teaching for any of us in Liberia. Some ways that you can support us spiritually

  • Prayer – first and foremost, we can not be doing any of this if we didn’t believe in a living, active God. Therefore we MUST be in prayer and have others in prayer with us as we seek to glorify Him in all that we do.
  • We would love access to We rely heavily on downloading and listening to sermons for our spiritual food, but being visual learners, we find it difficult to absorb sometimes. This website would also allow us to use some visual aids with our own kids as well as the little kids at our library and church.

Please don’t put us on a pedestal!

  • Send us an email
We are no different from yourself and it is nice to have a chat about you and what you’re up to. We are interested in you and praying for you too this partnership thing is a two-way street. If you write us an email, we will usually write one back.
  • Send a care package
It can be a letter or something a little bigger (like vegemite!!) – just the excitement of getting something from Australia is the best! Life away from family can be difficult – especially when they are going through happy or sad times without you present… these times are the hardest for us.

Let’s be honest, without this, we can’t go

  • We desperately need supporters to help us get our big kids to school. They will be heading to Dakar Academy in Senegal for the remainder of their high school years. We need to raise support for that and also to make up the difference in the decrease of the AUD over the years. To this effect, we need to raise a total of $30,000/year.
